PM Sharon

What a horrible week I had, my grandmother passed away, my daughter was sick, and my car broke down. And on top of everything, the general atmosphere is upsetting due to PM Sharon situation.

On Wednesday night PM Sharon had massive stroke and he was hospitalized.
I didn’t agree with his political way but it was shocking news for all of us.
It was like we all lost our father. right wing left wing, no matter what is one's political ideas, all Israel were united in feeling – we all set close to the TV and prayed for Sharon to get well.

It reminded me the assassination of PM Rabin, 10years ago. All Israel, no matter of their political point of views were united in grief, sadness and most of all in shock – how can this happen to us?

Today, like 10 years ago, it was difficult not to think of the man he was (or still is), when PM Rabin was killed, I went to Jerusalem to pass by his coffin that stood in the Knesset. I stood in line for 5 hours just to pass by. I never saw so many people in one place as the mass that arrived to pay their respects for the great man he was. The grief and the lost of Rabin, united us, just like today.

It is clear that Sharon will no longer will be our PM; however I just want to wish him well and get better asap.
